Although just 2 adult travellers, work commitments meant we had to travel in the school holidays, there are a lot of families aboard as expected but we have generally found adult only areas and it has not been an issue.

Our cabin (14826) club balcony suite midship but a distance from either front or back stairs (no midship stairs on here), but is spacious, spotlessly clean, enormous bathroom and we LOVE the large shower with the movable jets. Our cabin steward is a delight, friendly, hardworking and nothing too much trouble. The only slight down about the cabin is if you have the balcony door open you can sometimes hear music and activities happening at the pool, but really would not stop me having this cabin again (in the unlikely event I chose NCL/this ship again).

The food has been plentiful (it's a cruise ship) and good (a little bland sometimes), we have eaten in the buffet, all 3 main dining rooms, Tepanyaki (twice), Cagney's and La Cucina. No nasty surprises outside of dining package (a couple of options in Cagneys are a supplement but that is made very clear on menu). Service in the speciality restaurants generally far better than the others but not exceptional. Tepanyaki is our favourite food, the food itself is wonderful but the chef's are now so focused on the "show" and the songs it feels so fake and you get none of their personality and nothing individual (and in fact 2nd time with a 9pm reservation staff were clearly in a rush to finish.....checks were given to us for signing before main courses were half way eaten, they demanded to know at the same point whether desert was required and if you dared say yes it was given to you the second you finished your meat/rice).
