The beginning of the planning was soon to be misrepresented by customer service when we called to complete the reservation. The lady on the phone promised to keep our family rooms very close, since we have first time customers from outside the US. When we arrived we noticed that our rooms were on separate floors and on separate ends of the ship. (Major issue) Go back the Carnival of the old with proven changes to them.

Once on board the new approach is to keep you on board and spend more money on the ship instead evenly spread the time on the location of the visit. The deals were not even close to being realistic and the design of the ship was very confusing. With this issue the locations of the venues are not well identified and sometimes not recognized upon arriving in the correct area. The old way was much easier to navigate and the entertainment was more instead of now very little. Continuing on the entertainment the Broadway shows were high school level choreography and not even close to the former brand of carnival. The singers did not have voices that matched the songs, (curved spine). The evening comedy show (Doug Williams) primarily placed the guests on the spot by asking if the wives of the cruisers gave the husbands oral sex, but not in this type of words. (Tasteless) This should never be part of a cruise rather in an adult setting or not. Only real thing I agree with Doug is that this was a true section 8 cruise.

On a positive note, the same people that Doug Williams made fun of were the actual employees that made the cruise somewhat enjoyable. (The servers and the custodial staff) Room had a very helpful individual from the Philippines that was very professional unlike the entire cruise atmosphere. So I would only request that the rest of the leadership and cruise management learn from these employees. They made the cruise.
