This was our first time on Oceania. We love Bermuda and enjoy smaller ships when they are available. I was so excited to again return to Hamilton and St. George as opposed to the Dockyard. The ship was very nice. The staff all around the ship couldn't be more pleasant, helpful and generally a pleasure to be around. Food in the Grand Dining Room and the buffet was excellent as was the specialty restaurant Toscana. I can't say the same for the Polo Grill. Prime rib was too tough to eat and vegetables were cold.

We were very disappointed in the fact that whenever we came upon an officer of any type, it was as if we were invisible. No eye contact, no good morning, no are you enjoying the cruise, nothing (with no exception). It was as if they were doing us a favor by sailing us to Bermuda. We are avid cruisers sailing on Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and Holland America. We have always been recognized in some fashion. The Captain made two announcements from the Bridge but we never saw him. He was absent from the Captains Welcome Cocktail Party.

We knew before we sailed that Oceania is noted for their quisine and not for their activities on board and this was true. I am not a young woman but I was bored. Not sure I would sail Oceania again.
