We have been cruising all over the world for the past 10-years. We booked a Rock Star suite with a bow end cabin - top end. This experienced is echoed by many people we met on the ship.
1. Itinerary. If you want to go to obscure industrial ports off the beaten track with no local tourist attractions where you have to take a shuttle bus simply to get out of the port from the container ship docks then this is for you.
2. Ship facilities. A brand new whacky, woke design. There is no pool deck except for a tiny splash pool and 4 whirlpools on a ship designed for 2,200 passengers. The standard class section comprises of bizarre garish pained metal furniture. The galley area on deck 15 is fragmented with most of it closed apart from short defined periods in the day. We tried to eat at 8.30pm when it was shut apart from a 24x7 breakfast buffet. All other restaurants around the ship have to be booked in advanced. Many of the menu options were not available along with nearly all wine selections.
Brilliant roomy cabin with a balcony on the bow of the boat. Extremely comfy with lots of room and a fully stocked bar
The only drawback of Barcelona is the high level of street crime with pick packing and mugging for watches, phones, phones and valuables rife despite the tourist areas being flooded with police and security particularly at night. It does create a feeling of it being a safe place to be
