We booked in the Haven for this cruise so my cruising experience especially in terms of cabin, food, and service might be different since we tended to stay within the Haven for lunches and dinner. However, we did visit the buffet numerous times throughout the cruise.

FOOD:

After getting off the Carnival Mardi Gras with its tiny buffet recently, it was nice to see a full fledged buffet with many different options offered daily. They had an Asian station, salad bar, grill foodstuff, pasta dishes that changed regularly, and a new selection of entrees everyday. This among other things, but I'm just providing some idea. They always had chicken tenders and mac and cheese everyday too. Every dinner had a different theme (ie. Seafood, Oriental, Caribbean, etc.). Breakfast selection was very nice -- lots of pastries and options. Try the french toast -- it's very good! Actually, the french toast on the buffet was the same as the french toast in the Haven restaurant and room service. Equally delicious, although on the buffet they usually had two different french toast flavors.
