The crew and travel guides all did a great job. The food was delicious. My wife and I enjoyed the onboard entertainment. The check in at the hotel in Venice was somewhat chaotic and disorganized. The airport in Venice was confusing to navigate. Overall I thought that the destinations were wonderful and a lot of useful information was provided. The entire Viking staff made sure that we were comfortable and that we had everything that we needed. I might have signed up for the Acropolis excursion had I known in advance how much time would be spent in the museum, but it still was an enjoyable day. It was a plus to be able to sit wherever you liked for dinner. The variety of restaurants was really appreciated. Overall the trip was very enjoyable. Viking always treats it’s guests in a first class manner. My wife and I will be sailing again with Viking in the future.
