We chose this cruise itinerary as we had not yet seen any of the ruins in Greece and surrounding areas and it was on our bucket list. We choose Viking because we had a great experience on their river cruises so thought it may be a good choice for ocean too. We were right, the ship was very nice and comfortable from the not too crowded feeling to the very nice stateroom we had. The ship's crew were fantastic and the food was very good in every restaurant. The meal we had at the Chef's Table restaurant was one of the best, well prepared and served meals we have had on land or sea. We really enjoyed all of the excursions and got our fill of the various ruins in the area, so much history. Our only complaint would be the lunch served on the cave excursion in Slovenia, definitely not up to Viking standards and very disappointed that this had not been previewed by Viking before offering it to guests. Overall a great time and we have already booked another ocean cruise for next year.
