this was supposed to be a celebration of our 30th wedding anniversary, we were originally, sailing in. 2020, but after numerous delays we sailed in May of 2022, we had our flights included in the cruise. we were supposed to fly out of Rochester New York, found out at 3:00 AM that was not going to work and had to drive 90 minutes to Syracuse, got the flight and made it to Honolulu, 2 beautiful days there and than we boarded the ship. the crew was fantastic! unfortunately, NCL was not willing to change our return flight, so we could get back to our car so $300 later we did it ourselves!

12 beautiful days on board the ship, because we were not flying out of Tahiti immediately, we had booked 2 extra days stay there through NCL, we did not get tested before getting off the ship, even though I had symptoms or a "summer cold". We found out through others staying in Tahiti that there was over a 10% positive Covid rate of those tested! We never got that information from NCL! Two days later as we got ready to leave Tahiti I tested positive for Covid! My husband a lung cancer patient tested negative, I insisted he leave without me. I was quarantined for 6 days, finally allowed to fly home to my now Covid positive husband! we are now trying to get reimbursed for all the added expenses, if NCL had tested us before we got off the cruise in Tahiti, I would not have but so many people at risk of Covid in Tahiti! I should not have been allowed off the ship! NCL needs to be much more responsible, the people of Tahiti deserve so much more!
