We booked a Royal Caribbean Cruise Ovation of the Seas, under the condition to be granted a medical exemption to sail to one out of ten guests in our group. We do know the possibilities of a negative response, we do not expect from Royal to keep us waiting until 3 days before sailing to let us know, under the presumption that their are reviewing the documentation presented to them and will let us know, the cutoff should be greater. My lesson learned is not to wait until last minute for an accommodation the they are offering but not willing to allow. All that situation is irrational and very unfair for some of us. That situation put my kids, since is the father the one requiring the accommodation, in an emotional breakdown and we as family in a very sad situation. My advise don't bother in ask for any kind of accommodation, not even wait with the confidence of a positive response. Not loyal to Royal anymore.
