We chose this cruise as it left from our hometown of Tampa, Florida and we had some interest in the areas the ship was sailing to.
First impressions were great. Though the ship arrived about 5 hours late due to weather/uncontrollable circumstances, the turnaround and departure were about as perfect as could be. Our luggage was waiting for us after lunch and we left only about an hour late. I highly recommend eating in the dining room vs the buffet on the first day. We were one of only about 10 tables occupied for lunch with a great view of the city.
Room: We had a traditional balcony room on deck 10 which seemed a little smaller than any of our previous cruises on different cruise lines. There were three of us in the room (wife and daughter along with myself) and we had a connecting room with my in-laws. There was a surprising amount of storage space and a place for luggage below the bed. They could have put some additional storage above the pullout bed, but not a necessity. The TV worked poorly, not that we used it much and was a small 19in screen or so. Although there were two mirrored areas for the ladies to get ready, neither of them were easily accessible, especially if the pullout was extended.

Mayan Ruins tour was great. Choose the Deluxe version and it is limited to 12 people.
Plenty to choose from, we did Sea Lions and Manatees. It was fine, though not what I expected. Mostly Manatees with a little Sea Lion exposure
Possibly the nicest Cruise Ship owned port I have been to. Pavers/sidewalks everywhere and very clean with many options for shopping, dining, activities, and drinking. Note, food/drink is not included here like other spots.
Monkeys and Macaws! Great excursion to see some Jungle creatures. Note: there is a limited mobility option for those who need it. It is not mentioned via the Norwegian tour deck or the online info. We have also done zip-lining in the past...very good experience
