This was my 1st cruise experience. It started off rocky because I paid for double occupancy, but when I later tried to add a friend they told me the friend would have to pay the exact same price I did and they would not have their own cabin room. While trying to resolve the situation I called Princess and after the 2 hour phone wait they said that they could not talk to me directly( that I must have the one who booked my cruise on the other line). Then I was told that I must pay the price of two people because the friends name was added later. Once the friends name was finally removed the vacation planning people( not Princess) told me that they would surprise me by celebrating my birthday by decorating my cabin door and room. This never happened and I cried during my trip stay when I saw that they had decorated others room.

The medallion registration was a lot of trouble to use and upload everything. Even on the ship all its functions that was suppose to have didn't work because they told me the Wifi was not that great. I could have had a great time if I wasn't all alone on Christmas with no one to celebrate my birthday with. Lastly, a woman who came alone like me told me she had paid $200 less then me.

Overall I am not happy.
