We did this cruise with my father in law who is Elite with Princess. We had always wanted to try Princess and they had the best Covid protocol for us, so we booked. Please take into consideration these factors in this review...

-We are 52/54 and active, like nightlife

-Our preferred cruise line is Celebrity. That being said, Princess is now our number 2 cruise choice.

Cabin Review

Cabin- The best room we have had on a ship, worst balcony.

Pros: *We had an MB-Mini Suite- This was a highlight. The best cabin we have had (we usually have a suite or Aqua class on Celebrity). This cabin is very similar to a suite cabin on Celebrity but even better. I pack heavy and there was an abundant amount of space. The couch was large and deep. Great for napping while watching the sea go by. *Beautiful decor and dividing curtains meant my husband could sleep in while I had coffee in the sitting area. *The balcony was well furnished so we could have meals there but...

Cons: *The balcony was narrow. We both tried to sit there and we had to angle our chairs and maneuver our legs to be comfortable(we are 5'7" and 5'10"). We were disappointed as we used the balcony a lot due to it being a pandemic and chose not to use the public areas as much. *The air conditioning was limited. We found the room got too warm at times and when we lowered the ac to the max, it didn't do much. There are no temps on the thermostat but we think the range is small. We usually like the room warmer than most people, so this was a surprise that we were too warm. We heard a couple of other passengers talk about this as well. * We had heard soo much about the Princess bed, we postponed purchasing a new mattress until after our cruise as we thought it was going to be the one for us. Unfortunately, we found it too firm. It could be that it was a brand new ship and hadn't been broken in yet, but we won't be buying one. * The drawers are loud. You can hear the drawer slams from all the cabins around you. This would wake us in the mornings. Also, we could hear the people in the cabin next to us talking. Felt walls were thin, a surprise for a new ship.* Exhaust-We were midship and could smell and see exhaust from the balcony on occasion. Father-in-law had aft cabin and couldn't use his balcony first two sea days due to fumes. None of this ruined trip, but was the first time we had ever experienced it.

Port Reviews

Bonaire

Easy town to walk off and see. Lots to do. Best snorkeling. Suggest bringing your own snorkel gear and swim right at port in shadows of ship.

St. Thomas

We did a kayak snorkel tour and found it a great day. On previous cruise we used taxi to go to Sapphire beach and it was awesome. Beautiful island with lots to do.
