1st time on Princess, responded to FB Ad last minute booking. Princess TA phoned me. I reserved booking an aft balcony cabin for three days. Returned call to TA with message I wanted to book it twice over next two days. Never got a call back. Went on line, all aft cabins booked. Booked one close to aft, certainly not the stern cabin we wanted.

Then the fun began. My understanding was you must download their Medallion App and it must be completed before boarding. The app did not work. Called Princess many times for help. Nobody ever answered the phone, spent hours on hold. Received a garbled phone message with the only words understandable "Princess, Ocean Ready". Finally got some of my personal information into the app but some was wrong and the edit would not allow correction. Three days before boarding I got an email from Princess saying that since I was having problems with their app they would telephone me. They never did. Went to Port Everglades and checked in the old fashioned way with all paper. EASY-PEASY ! During the entire 10 days their app never worked properly despite many trips to Guest Services whose mantra seemed to be "this app needs a lot of work." As we shared tables we found about 50% had app problems of one sort or another.

The cruise itself was good, excursions excellent, staff was excellent, ate in all the specialty restaurants. Funny ate in the Italian $58, the very next night we had the identical same menu in the MDR. OBTW no matter how your dining reservation is made app, room TV or Guest Services the fact you requested SHARING does not reach the dinning room. They were determined to seat us at a table for two. When we said no, we were left standing there like two lumps waiting, waiting & waiting while staff figured it out. Finally on our last night the matre de told us "their system needed work." The Princess Medallion App is overhyped, oversold and woefully underdeveloped as they try to appeal to the young and hip. Worst of all Princess Home Office Customer Help does not exist. We will not be repeating with Princess I did not book a cruise over Christmas to be frustrated & aggravated & ignored.

Very nice but not the stern cabin I wanted to book but could not because the Princess TA would not return my phone messages.
