I have sailed Norwegian over 15 times, and the service has always been good, and cleanliness was always a priority even before pandemic. This cruise was different being the first since COVID that I have been on one. The service was 10 times superior, everyone grateful and appreciative.

The food however was not up to Norwegians standard or my past experiences. Cagneys was excellent as always, Moderno was ok, the meal seemed a bit rushed and meat was fair, Shanghai, was absolutely terrible, food was tasteless, and appeared to have been prepared hours in advance and had been sitting in a warmer. O’Sheehans was good pub food as always and the buffet was lacking in presentation and choice, again not what you expect. Some of these issues may have been the result of the pandemic and shortages including qualified culinary staff.

I will definitely book another Norwegian Cruise in the very near future.
