We chose this cruise because the company have been doing this itinerary for many years. We had gone with them 2 years ago through the NW Passage on the Roald Amundsen ship and were very disappointed with the ship and the staff. We were offered a discount on our next cruise, and chose an itinerary that the company had done many times. This was a good choice.

The cruise was great. It was enhanced because the ship was only 50% full (covid) and this meant that you could find seats most of the time, and the restaurants etc were not too busy. We would not want to go on this ship if it was full. We liked the fact that it was a small ship so could go into small ports and fjords.

We had one of the best suites and this paid off, we were able to eat in the a la carte restaurant for lunch and dinner and the staff there were amazing. We would not have liked one of the smaller cabins. The main restaurant had ok food, although some of the buffet food was warm or cold when it should have been hot.

Cabin Review

cabin a bit small for a large cabin. we liked the curtain across the middle so as to make 2 rooms. It was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The pillows were good. the TV was terrible, nothing in English and only later in the cruise could we see the daily schedule. None of the lectures or briefings were available on the TV, as we expected.
