We chose this cruise because it was a brand new ship and thought it would be exciting. It was not, and was a rather bland experience compared to other cruise ships we have been on. I don't think there is anything exciting about this ship. The ambience was very lacking. Lots of advertising for this ship about many things to do on the ship, yet many are just a small area stuck in a corner somewhere.

We travel as handicapped and don't believe the Long Beach port is very handicap friendly. They offer scooter rentals for pickup at the port terminal whereas other cruise lines offer scooter delivery to the room and pick up there. The pick up in the terminal was fine for boarding as you didn't have to wait for a wheelchair. But if you wanted to debark and take your own luggage, it became too much baggage to handle along with scooter. Won't do that again.

Our accessible room was very nice with a nice layout, nice bathroom layout EXCEPT there were no chairs at all in the room. We had to sit on either the scooter or the bed. We had room service and had to put the tray on the bed. Not a comfortable scenario and there was plenty of room to put a chair.

Cabin Review

Cabin was very spacious, enough room for a scooter as well as a walker. Good layout and bathroom was nice layout as well.

Lacking a chair(s) and electric plug would not work with my curling iron.
