We chose Viking because of their small ships and the number of things (wine at lunch and dinner, shore excursions) that were included in the price. We also appreciated the focus on education and enrichment.
Every aspect of this cruise was beautifully executed with obvious attention to detail. Embarking was a breeze. To a person, every Viking employee we encountered was pleasant and courteous. The food was delicious and the dining service was meticulous.
The ship itself was comparable to a very high-end hotel. The decorating was sleek and understated and everything was spotless.
Cabin Review
The cabin was extremely comfortable and very thoughtfully designed. Although all cruise ship cabins are small, this one never felt cramped. The bathroom was the best we have ever encountered on a cruise ship.
