Past experience with Viking was great and this cruise was more of the same. Staff attends to every detail and are always upbeat and welcoming. They take care of everything from the moment they pick you up at the airport until they drop you back at the airport. We ate many of our meals at the buffet. The food was good, but after a couple of weeks it did get to be repetitive. Their organization is amazing. Every transition to and from the ship was flawless. Many of our excursions allowed us to experience the real culture of various places by walking around small towns or parks. However, We were disappointed by some of the excursions that consisted of a lot of time riding around the city on a bus while the guide narrated the experience. A little more active tours would be appreciated.

We are already signed up and looking forward to an even longer Viking Cruise for next year.
