A smaller cruise ship ( about 900 guests). Although the ship was almost at capacity, never felt like it. Excellent friendly service....great food, wonderful experience.

We chose it for the itinerary and were pleased with every port. Rough seas made it necessary to divert, missing a port, but adding a fjord, so we were pleased.

This is our first Viking Ocean cruise experience and we loved it, clearly the focus is on providing service and a great experience, as opposed to selling and up selling, as has been our experience on other cruise ships. The staff appear to enjoy their jobs - have noticed true team work and staff going beyond the “job” on many occasions - we can feel the positive atmosphere. All port guides have been interesting, engaging and very knowledgeable. Friendly and helpful. We choose cruises according to itineraries- and have been on many cruise lines. Viking is on the top of our list.
