we chose this cruise because of the Tampa port and time of year, first time on NCL line, have been on Holland and Royal and both were better than the NCL cruise IMO; pros: food is really quite good and the specialty restaurants are great, getting on and getting off boat were great, very organized, some staff was very good, but most were not. weather was fabulous and the ports were good. entertainment was overall very good, except DJ Remy, he was kind of rude and played the same stupid music all the time, the band Flavors was AMAZING, VERY NICE and super talented. our steward was very nice and efficient. CONS: service was not very good, we had a broken safe and no one cared, we called about it and was told "it has been broken for the last 8 cruises, over 400 of them are broken" then don't advertise that there are safes in the rooms, you cant use them! very rude customer service person regarding that issue, overall the service needs improving, some few were very good, but not enough. cabins are very small, smaller than any balcony rooms we have had on other boats (this boat is on the smaller side though) excursions need to be explained better and details about them. also asked months ago if i needed to make reservations at the specialtiy restaurants and was told no, but when we got on boat, was told almost all the resos were full ! really ?
