Our previous 2 cruises on NCL were definitely 5 star. This cruise was unfortunately a 2 star for us. Sailing out of New York was nice. Easy for us to get to from Philly. Sailing past the NYC skyline and the Statue of Liberty was marvelous. First stop was Port Canaveral. Excursion to Kennedy Space center was shortened by 2 hours which prevented us from seeing some exhibits. Next stop was Nassau. It was windy so, parasailing was cancelled. Spent the day at Atlantis resort which was just ok. Again, we had such a short stop we didn’t get much pool time.

Next stop was NCL’s private island Great Stirrup Cay. Unfortunately the seas were too rough for the tenders to safely board passengers so they scrapped that. The captain and crew knew the day before that the water would be too rough, yet they proceeded anyway and made the announcement that we could not get off the ship as we were all lining up to disembark.

We spent the next 3 ½ days going 10 miles an hour back to New York. 4000 people trying to get a spot at the pool. We had to carry our own lounge chairs to the aft sun deck and make our own space. What a joke!!!
