First of all, let me start out by saying I checked these reviews several times each week to learn as much as I could about this particular ship and cruise for several months before our cruise date. I was a little worried by what I had read by some reviewers, and though I respect their opinions, trust me to say if people find issues with this cruise and ship, they would find issues with any cruise they went on - I do not sugarcoat this review. I do comment that this or that could be better.

We flew to Fort Lauderdale and boarded the ship within 1 hour of landing in Florida. We took a taxi from the airport and arrived at the ship port around 1:30pm. The embarkation was easy and painless. Our luggage was taken upon arrival at the port by Princess employees and from there we traveled very quickly through the few check-in stations. Within a half hour of arriving at the port, we were on the ship looking for our cabin.

We found the cabin quickly with the help of Princess staff. We were almost immediately met by our cabin steward who greeted us and our robes were hanging in our closet that we had requested. We had a cabin with a balcony and our balcony was very nice with plenty of room and a table and four chairs. Much nicer than other cruise ships. Our room steward kept cabin room very, very clean and handled the few requests we made promptly.
