This was our first cruise and had heard amazing things about Disney. It didn’t disappoint as far as being surround by all things Disney related. We knew to expect tight space in the cabin (5184 - Verandah Room) so while yes it’s crowded the room met all our expectations and we did enjoy having the balcony to sit out on at times. The Positive: The shows very amazing and being able to see different shows across the cruise was great. Seeing current movies out In the theater was also a great plus. Staff - everyone we encountered was friendly and very helpful. A few who stood out: Tat - Guest Services Cameron - Pool/Slide Area Kim - Deck Area for Night time show. Brydon - Kids Club Kids Club - they do a great job all the staff keeping kids entertained and time for adults to have a little R&R. Mixology Class: Lots of fun and you get 5 drinks in 1 hour for $25. Great time and amazing deal. Highly recommend. The just Ok: Castaway Cay - this just wasn’t our thing. It was extremely crowded. People were packed in and while we got lucky finding a few lounge chairs under an umbrella others were searching for spots. Food: Cabanas - I thought the buffet was very limited in selection and repetitive for each meal. We have visited over 20 All Inclusive Resorts and there buffet puts Disney’s to shame. Dinner - the food was banquet dining good. We had some items that were better then others but they seemed to use the same brown sauce/gravy on everything. The appetizers and Salads/Soups were always the highlight of the meal. The wait staff were great. We enjoyed David and Don and having them know our preferences night to night was very impressive. The disappointing: Room Service: Disappointed that it wasn’t offered for breakfast. Otherwise the beverages we ordered were there quickly. Pools: We knew they would be small but I don’t know how they call them pools they were just squares holding water and kids floating in one spot. You can’t swim in them as the amount of kids in each was terrifying to me as a parent. Not relaxing at all. Pool Deck: Again limited spots and chairs stacked in tight rows with not shade options. Just not our thing. We are use to nice spaced out lounge seating. Overall we had a nice time and will consider another Disney cruise as the expression on our daughters face seeing all the characters was priceless. But it did affirm that we are more resort people then cruise people. The masses of people every where was just not fun.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah
Cabin 05A
Overall the cabin was nice.
Aft of the ship.
You could hear the Night Club late in the evening.
Coming into port was very loud.
Great location to elevator and Kids Club.
Would stay in the same cabin/area again.
