We took our entire family on a cruise to Alaska to celebrate my husbands retirement. We chose the Bliss as we have 8 Grandchildren ranging in age from 6-13. This was my husbands and my 4th Norwegian cruise, so imagine our surprise and disappointment at all the problems we had. We found the website a mess. If you schedule dinner and then an excursion, and there is a conflict, you are in trouble. You have to cancel the dinner, and in order to do that you must call on the phone. when you call the average wait time is 30-45 minutes. Then you get sent to another number where you wait another 30-45 minutes. Worse of all when you get to the ship, the prepaid items are a mess. We had to fight to get thins straight at Teppanyaki. Then we had to fight to get our prepaid photo package. We were charged for the game room after we prepaid for the kids, and we were using the green swipes. I actually got a call saying my charge was almost $600.00 and I had to fight with guest services to get it removed . We all got the $10.00 ability to text and call on the ship and it hardly ever worked. The staff in the dining rooms were a mess. I think they all must have just come onboard. On night we got desert before our meal. The most horrible thing was Splash Academy were they terrorized our 4 6 years olds. They threaten to put a diaper on my grandson because he cried, and belittled him. They threatened to tape my other grandsons mouth shut. When asked who they have caring for our children, there was no answer. I could go on and on. Alaska and the actual ship were great, staff poor

Cabin BF

The cabin was fine but our attendant was subpar.

Port Reviews

Glacier Bay

So beautiful. Norwegian is the only line that goes into Glacier Bay, part of why we chose them, but I'm not sure it was worth the trouble we had!!!!
