We booked this cruise about a week after getting off the Equinox last year. Last year was an 11 out of 10 starts. This year, maybe an 8.
The refurbishment is not anything that anyone can see really. We noticed some new paint and new carpet but that was it. The furniture in the common areas was exactly the same and needed some updating. The staff wasn't as happy as last year either.
The BIGGEST disappointment was our cabin. We booked cabin 9366 because the deck plan shows that it has an angled out (larger) balcony. It doesn't. I just spoke with customer service and they said you can't rely on the picture of the deck plan. WHAT?!
DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURE OF THE DECK PLAN! This room does NOT have a larger or angled balcony.
We were in a veranda room last year and we couldn't tell any changes or upgrades from the "rejuvenation" stuff.
Also, concierge class wasn't worth the extra money. Either we didn't take advantage of it like we should have or there really wasn't any advantage.
