Norwegian Dawn Cruise Review by cruisecriticDJW
- Sail Date: June 2019
- Destination: Bahamas
- Cabin Type: Forward-Facing Penthouse with Large Balcony
The ship itself is beautifully appointed and very clean in all public areas. It is a “smaller” ship, which we love; never too far to any event and easy to navigate.
The main dining room we ate in was The Venetian which was great food each night, along with impeccable service from our waiter Komang. There are plenty of food options should you wish to pay an additional fee, but we found The Venetian satisfactory for our needs.
Our only gripe on this cruise was that the Garden Café buffet was lacking in variety and taste. We only went one time as it was not very good compared to other lines we’ve been on.
Onboard entertainment was good, especially the show titled “Elements.” My family and I have never seen such a well produced show at sea. Absolutely breathtaking!
The Cruise Director and his staff did an excellent job of entertaining and making passengers laugh and feel at home. A special shout out to Pablo F on this team, who made our cruise with his wit and charm. What a great guy.
Having taken this cruise with this fabulous, attentive crew would absolutely make me consider NCL in the near future.

Balcony was as wide as the room and very deep. Measured about 15 feet by 20 feet, with two sun lounges and two chairs with table.
Stateroom attendant and butler were very pleasant.

Kennedy Space CenterA short bus ride from Port Canaveral to the Space Center. The bus tour at the Space Center was interesting and well narrated by our driver. The Atlantis exhibit is well worth a visit if you have time, and will get you out of the heat.View All 203 Kennedy Space Center Reviews
Great photo ops at the Rocket Garden.
Time is limited at the venue due to the ship sailing time, but worth it if you are into rockets/history/space travel.
