This was our first cruise and we were celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We decided to bring our three children who are teenagers. The embarkation was fast and went smoothly. The cabins were clean and the staff was friendly. We ate at the Four Seasons the first night and it was very nice, romantic and the food was delicious. However, we attempted to eat at the Seven Seas but it smelled like cigarette smoke forcing us to eat at the Four Seasons each night. Not that it mattered because the menu was identical. You could also find the most of the same items served in the restaurant at the buffet each night. Therefore, the complimentary restaurants and buffet had no variety. We were disappointed in the lack variety of food when you dined using the complimentary restaurants and buffet. We were also shocked with the overwhelming cigarette smoke coming from the casino and the seven seas restaurant. It was so bad we could not go in the areas. We had planned on going to the casino but due to the smoke we stayed away. In addition, the pool area was small and the music was so loud that you could not have a conversation without screaming. To top it off, deck 7 wreaked of pot. This is the same deck the kids club and teen club are located. Wifi was too expensive so communicating with our kids was nonexistent since we did not pay for the wifi. There was not much to do as far as activities and the entertainment was ok but no variety. There was a ton of raffle tickets being sold for cash and a cruise but you had to be present to claim your prize if you won. Mind you the drawings were sometime during bingo which was at 5:30 and dinner time.

The gift shop was small, hard to find and had mostly alcohol, perfume and cigarette cartons (no wonder there was so much smoke) and any shirts they had were of the same exact size. I wanted unique souvenirs shirts that said Norwegian Cruise but nope.

We really liked the first Island which is Norwegian's private Island. We had food and drinks included and paid to rent snorkeling gear. The second day we did Bemoral Island. We paid $109 for the beach day and to do the sting ray experience. Beach was not as nice as the first one and the food was ridiculously priced for a crappy selection. The sting ray experience was very cool however, we had to pay $137 to get all the photos on a thumb drive that does not work on our computers so we basically threw that money away.

The room was big and beautiful. The shower was harsh with extremely hard water pressure. Every day we came back to a neat and clean room.

Port Reviews

Great Stirrup Cay

Loved it. The island was big, water beautiful, food and drinks included. Clean, lots of chairs and shade.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Not easy to navigate your way if you are unfamiliar with it
