We went on an extended family cruise which included four "twenty-somethings" and there was something for everyone. Embarking was smooth as we choose 12 noon boarding. We parked in the multi-story garage and were on the first floor. Our mid-ship balcony room was larger than other balcony rooms in back of ship. The balcony door needs another coat of paint however I found it easy to open and close the door.
I eat a vegan menu and found everyone most accommodating. I was able to get almond or soy milk for my coffee and cereal. I was surprised how many side dishes were made with beef or chicken broth so I was very limited on what I could choose. Believe me, I was never at a loss for great things to eat.
Only complaint was the one hour trolley tour of Key West. The trolly does not pick up at same location as your drop off. The driver kept pointing out were we could go and then just "stand at a bus stop" and flag down a return ride. NO, don't do it. We were hot and tired and no one was stopping for us. The shopkeepers and locals could not tell us how to get back to the Navy yard to re-board the ship. We tried to flag down trolleys and buses in front of the gate but no one would stop. Thank goodness I called my sister who told me to walk back into town and catch her non-NCL bus.
Spacious enough for two. Quiet. We never heard the Monday night 2:00 am medical emergency.
