We really enjoyed our vacation on the Pearl. This was our first time on NCL and I really am hooked on the freestyle dinning. Although even with the fixed dinning times it is only dinner that is fixed on other cruise lines. So to say that I would choose NCL because of the freestyle is a bit of a wash. But the fact that my husband and kids did not have to put on a tie once was Great! We loved that part of it.

The kids playroom staff were the worst I have ever encountered!!! I had a kid in the 2-5 year group and twins in the 6-9 year group. and while signing out the twins, my husband could hear the playroom counsler yelling at my DS to stop. YELLING! Excuse me but don't yell at my kid while we are on vacation on a cruise or any other time thank you. He is 3. I don't know about you but 3 year olds don't listen as well as 30 year olds. He was hit by other kids and bitten and so he hit back and we were expelled from the kids room for 24 hours. EXPELLED!! That is their discipline method. Not very creative. I have never had a problem before by any streatch of the imagination. So I approached a supervisor and voiced my concerns that it does not seem they have conrol over the group. He gave me a Curt answer and Thanked me for my time. WHAT!!!????

The ship was beautiful and I loved how they did not waste space by having huge attrium areas. They needed a few more swimming pools and the adult pool was a joke. 2 swimming pools on deck 12 and everyone (20-40+ people) was in the kids pool and maybe 1 person was in the adult pool.

Cabin OB

We loved the cabin and I really loved the bright colored cabin doors, there were noises from below, I do not know what that was all about, great view great windows we had adjoining cabins and loved that.

Very comfortable and lots of storage space!
