Cabin: Inside Stateroom 9

This cruise was chosen for it's itinerary to the Southern Caribbean. This was the second cruise after refurbishment. Updates were nice. Except the new beds are like sleeping on concrete. Inside Cabin was good size. But several issues with Cabin- Day 1- No Air Conditioning and whining noise coming from air intake vents; Day 1-3 No Hot water in the shower; Day 4- Key card wouldn't open cabin- had to replace batteries. Cutbacks in cabins- no coasters- so new cabinet tops will be ruined with glass water stains. Also bring you own paper and pin- no longer furnished. Took three ship shore excursions. Two of them were joined by guests from RCCL Ship also in port and there was way too many people. Also all of the excursions were substantially shorter than the times published. Food was okay- but nothing more so special than what I have had on Princess, NCL or RCCL. Also inferior to food on Oceania. Crew was very friendly and helpful. Entertainment was so-so. Theatre shows were okay. Silent Disco was a pleasant hit! Embarkation and Disembarkation were both very quick and well organized. Same was true of leaving and return at port. Shops on ship geared towards high end merchandise. Library non existent. Make sure you bring your own reading materials. This sailing has a wide variety of ages. I am sure this was partly due to kids from the US East Coast and Canada being on Spring Break.

Inside Stateroom 9

Cabin 09

Cabin updates were nice. News beds are very hard-like sleeping on concrete. Location was nice and quiet. Occasional noise from the cafe above.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

Booked excursion to Coral World on our own. It is small but nice. Did the Snuba Diving and it was fun.

San Juan

Independent walking tour.
