The first couple of days at sea was a challenge as the ocean swells were high. Cold for the first 3 days. Lots to do on the ship. Ports went by quickly and we started to head home. Then it hit. A little sinus drip turned into a fever and a hard cough. Fever took 5 days to finally subdue. Too many sick people on the ship with lots of them coughing without covering their mouth. So it took 15 days to do an 8 day cruise. I don’t think I will go that long of a cruise with so many sea days. My wife and daughter enjoyed all the shopping both on the ship and on the islands. The Grand itself was in good condition after the dry dock. Staff were excellent and the food was good. Alfredo’s had a really good pizza. Room service was fast but the menu needs more work. I’m looking forward to being on one of the newer ships the next time we are on a cruise.
