Southern itinerary. Nice time of year to cruise from Fort Lauderdale because many ships have repositioned so the ports are not crowded with other ships. Service in Luminae was superb. The Skye Suite cabin 2163 is well positioned in the "bulge" so limited noise from above and very near the midship elevators. (Other suite locations on deck 12 complained of being awakened by early morning chair scraping noises from the pool deck above. So, if you are a light sleeper considering a Skye Suite, be cognizant of what is located above the cabin). There are no electrical outlet by the bed, so extension cord going across the room is necessary if using a CPAP machine at night. It's hard to believe that the engineers missed that one when designing the cabins. Good entertainment. The crew is happy and there is a good positive vibe all over the ship. The casino has raised minimum table stakes from $5 to $10 so the casino was very empty most of the time. If you enjoy gambling, this most likely is not the ship for you. Busy places on the ship are the coffee bar and the gelato bar. Both are excellent. We are experienced cruisers (76) and honestly had no complaints. We enjoyed the ship and booked a crossing on it in the same cabin for 2020 which is a pretty good indication of our level of satisfaction.
