We selected this cruise specifically because we wanted an overnight in Havana Cuba.
This ship sailed out of Miami with stops in Honduras, Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico, and Havana. Havana did not disappoint. We took a classic car tour around the city. It was great to see. We had been to the other stops in the past so not quite as special, but we really had fun on the Fury Snorkeling Catamaran excursion we booked in Cozumel.
Overall, we enjoyed the cruise, the crew, the food/entertainment, and the excursions. We had a balcony room which allowed us to be in a more intimate dining room. The Dining Room manager and servers MADE the cruise for us! Very attentive and provided fantastic recommendations and personalized service. We found all the staff to be great. We never waited long for service and they were always pleasant.
For the constructive feedback, the ship is well maintained, but it's age/size is reflected in fewer options for dinner, small casino, and small gym with no dedicated space for fitness classes. The only significant disappointment was the Honduras BFK Beach Break excursion. The time was cut in half due to tender/transport issues resulting in many crabby customers.
We will look for an opportunity to cruise MSC again in the future!
This was one of the largest balcony rooms I have had with lots of storage, closet, and drawer space. Roomy enough for 2 adults to pass by each other. Bathroom was nice too and included a tub. The room was clean and well maintained.
Delays in tendering and road construction reduced the amount of time we had at the beach. The beach was nice though.View All 460 Beach Reviews
Very interesting. The guide provided great details about the ruins themselves and the Mayan people.View All 418 Chacchoben Mayan Ruins Reviews
Nice catamaran. Excellent snorkeling. Nice private island/beach. The crew was fantastic. Very accommodating while on the catamaran and very focused on our safety while in the water snorkeling. Fun dance party on the way back to the dock.View All 84 Deluxe Sail, Snorkel and Beach Party Reviews
So fun to see all the colorful classic cars. Touring Havana was very interesting. It was good to see some new investment, but clearly in need of infrastructure investment (roads, sidewalks, buildings, etc.). Cuban people are very nice and most we interacted with spoke English.View All 251 City Tour Reviews
