We wanted to experience a Western Caribbean itinerary after several Southern Caribbean Cruises. The Breakaway decor was very nice & despite its size it never felt too crowded. The staff was extremely friendly, very visible & made us feel like valued customers-in particular Executive Chef Kevin Green who was great to us. The food was wonderful. The specialty restaurants were consistently outstanding & reservations at them for our group of 10 were easy as we made them well before the trip began. The pace of the cruise was relaxed in that with one exception we didn't arrive in any port until late morning. The 10 days was just the right length of the cruise. The entertainment was top notch- with Rock of Ages, Burn The Floor & the Back in the Day Band being the highlights. Cozumel & Ocho Rios were fine but Harvest Cay, our snorkeling/beach excursion @ Belize City & Grand Cayman were excellent. This was probably our groups favorite cruise of the 7 we've been on.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

The cabin was a fairly typical size but nicely appointed & comfortable. The balcony wasn't large but the bathroom was roomy

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

Beautiful beach, loved the short walk from the ship to the beach. Plenty of amenities. More than enough beach chairs. A 10.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Beautiful beach. Shops close @ 5:00 pm.
