We wanted something different and we were not disappointed. From the start to finish this was the best cruise we have ever taken. The service was by far the best of any cruise. Every staff member from the cabin attendant, waiters, assistant waiters,Guest services, beverage staff and others were always so willing to go out of their way to assist. The entertainers were very talented and put on wonderful programs every evening. Even the cruise director and assistant cruise director actually had beautiful voices, even opera.The tour guides for the excursions were very knowledgeable, informative and attentive to the guests. For those who can't do a lot of walking, the excursions were just perfect for people like me and there were always places to rest. We must say the food was the best of any cruise ship we have been on in a long time. My wife who enjoys wine liked having wine with both lunch and dinner rather than just dinner. Beer and wine were part of the whole package and how nice that was. Most cruise ships charge an outrageous price for a beverage packages! We certainly look forward to our next cruise which will be with Viking in October.
