Overall it was a great experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the new ship even though it took a few days to get used to. We did miss the Symphonia though. This is our 3rd cruise and definitely not our last. (We have already booked for New Year 2019) The cabin was bigger then we expected and were very happy we booked a balcony....Even though we had extremely noisy neighbors. It was always very clean and our cabin attendant was very friendly and respectful of our space. The dinners were great and we had many great dishes! Some familiar favorites but some predictable options that lacked a bit of imagination. But all still top notch quality! The service in the dining room was exceptional...as always! What bothered us the most was the shocking dress code in the dining room. We thought there was a strict dress code but it was not enforced which did lower the atmosphere of the dinners. We were also surprised to see so many off the dinners had a "casual" dress code? Call me old fashioned but I don't want to see baggies and slops at dinner? They should rather go to the buffet. The gala evening dress code was SHOCKING and I felt very over dresses wearing a suit.

The sushi restaurant was an absolute winner!

One thing we did notice on this cruise was an absence of the Entertainment staff? Usually they were more active on board and created a much more festive atmosphere. It didn't bother us but was a little sad to see. As far as the activities go there wasn't as much as in previous cruises? Again this didn't bother us as we still had lots to do but we did hear a few people mention that. In previous years there were always talks and extra games shows in the theatre. We definitely did miss the tv screens with daily events. I know they aren't needed as booking for the theatre is no longer necessary....Ok the theatre...WORLD CLASS! Going to see any show was a real event with the new theatre! The shows were ok. Not the high standard that we are used to. The calibre of the dancers was great but I personally feel the average choreography didn't showcase their standard. Overall the shows weren't what we were used onboard but we did still enjoy them.
