We picked this cruise because it went Tortola and Antigua, islands we have never visited. We are 3 star HOLLAND Cruisers so we know Holland pretty well. The ship did not disappoint. It is beautiful. However some parts of our experience were less then acceptable. To start, the embarkation was a nightmare. I received an e mail ftom HAL about Adweek before telling me to arrive between 1 - 1:30pm. We followed directions and arrived about 12:45pm and saw the longest line I have ever seen on HAL. Did they tell every one to arrivecatbthe same time? It appeared that way. The line went out the door, down to the end of the building, around the corner and back to the entry point into the building. It took over an hour. Exhausting in the hot Florida sun!

Once on the ship we found our storeroom and it was nice however the extra pillows and mattress wedge I requested were not there And the bed was arranged in twins not queen. It took about 15 min to reach customer service to make another request.

Overall the ship services disappointing. Not up to the level I was use to on HAL. Read more
