This was a special holiday and very expensive chosen as a one-off treat never again
The cabin looked lovely but we had problems with the carpet being wet from the balcony to the middle of the lounge area as did a lot of the same side of our deck . The Butler was visible sometimes and not others . Tried twice to phone room service and was cut off . The patio door was not sealed properly and difficult to open/close . The weather was appalling on 90 % of the journey and was too near the front of the ship despite being described as midship and the rolling and banging was awful . Many of our group were sea sick . No kettle or tea coffee in room at all , water was provided in mini bar from a unsealed bottle that was refilled by the butler .
The ship needs a refurb and is tired and tatty in some areas
This cabin was on deck 5 supposed to be midship but was far too near the front and as the weather was bad every day it banged rolled tipped and was very uncomfortable .
The carpet was wet from the veranda door to the middle of the cabin lounge as were everyone else’s cabins on the same side .
Plenty of space but antiquated old TVs that were difficult to work and an old DVD player you could get old dvds to watch but it didn’t work properly and the sound was dreadful.
No tea coffee making facilities in the room and water was provided in a jug refilled daily in the mini bar fridge
The veranda door didn’t seal properly and the wind howled through it
The butler is a bit of a novelty visible sometimes but often not and they didn’t answer the phone page twice when I tried it to get some coffee .
Various toiletries provided which didn’t use .
We actually stayed in the Anantara hotel here and it was lovely only joined the ship to sail
The captain bypassed this port due to the weather
Didn’t stop here either bit of a nightmare journeyb
Docked in different harbour missed light show as couldn’t see it , only there one day , did a trip independently on way to airport
