We chose this cruise as it was two weeks in duration, a good price and had four islands we hadn’t yet visited. We enjoy the fact that just about everything is paid for up front so there’s no big surprise at the end. Wine and beer with lunch and dinner always flow freely. Soft drinks/juices, tea and coffee are available 24 hours a day and water is provided before leaving on excursions. There are no extra charges for any of the restaurants. An excursion is included in every port. We also enjoy the fact that there are 950 guests and no children. We attended a couple of the cultural talks and both speakers were entertaining and informative. The service is excellent in every area and the staff go above and beyond to please. The shore excursions are well organized. We have another Viking cruise booked for Alaska in July. At this point all six of our cruises have been with Viking and we have no plans to change that!

Cabin Review

Cabin DV2

Cabin was spotlessly clean as always. Cabins are a good size and all have a veranda. At this category, there are soft drinks and snacks replaced daily in the mini fridge. Beautiful soaps and lotions are provided in the roomy bathroom.
