We chose this cruise because it was the newest celebrity ship being built. We Actually booked 2 years in advance. The dining rooms and public areas were magnificent. All furniture, tables and chairs were beautiful. There were four basic dining rooms that were all appointed with different themes and each was just beautiful. The ship architecture was modern and tasteful and full of angles and curves, very artistic. Food was excellent. We felt as if we were in a restaurant rather than a giant ship dining room. Our biggest complaint was the entertainment And lack of activities. The evening shows were not entertaining and we couldn’t find anything fun to do at night. We did however enjoy the silent disco. Staff was friendly and attentive and engaged with the guests. By the time we got on the ship there were no classes left to take in the gym. My spin shoes never left my suitcase and we were very disappointed. Only certain guests (we were Concierge clas) were allowed to use the peloton bikes in the main center and we thought this was unfair. The staff was not prepared for the popularity of classes and did not add more which may have solved the problem. We booked our next cruise onboard on the Reflection, a more traditional celebrity ship.
The infinite balcony was interesting. It did make the cabin appear larger, but it was either dark or light, no inbetween. The ship was able to control the windows so at times they couldn’t be opened. Lots of storage space and the bathroom was very large and spacious. Big shower with glass door. Great little shelves and nooks. Mattresses were thick and very firm. Our attendant was great and provided everything we requested.
