We really wanted to do our next cruise (our 27th) aboard the Epic. It did not disappoint. We chose a balcony stateroom on deck 9.It was really different than other balcony cabins we stayed in on any cruise ship. It had a separate shower and toilet area and a draw curtain that separates the two from the rest of the cabin. Wasn't really a problem for us,but saw several complaints from other passengers. The bed was pretty standard, pushed together to form a queen.Seemed shorter than all other beds we encountered on other ships. The balcony was huge and was thoroughly enjoyed by both of us.The only downfall regarding our cabin was the stateroom attendant named Katherine. She was the worst we had ever encountered in all our cruising going back to 1989.No attention to detail and we had to leave her notes on most days as she was hard to find during the day. When we first got to our stateroom on the first day,we found a stain on the floor in front of the toilet that she said couldn't be removed.I called down to the housekeeping department and the next day it was gone. There was a leftover used bar of soap in the shower with a hair on it.She quickly removed it for us.The entertainment on board was very good with something for everyone. The food was good most evenings in the main dining rooms, but not so enjoyable in the buffet. We enjoyed the Teppanyaki specialty restaurant the first evening.I would recommend this cruise as 10 nights is perfect.Norwegian hits you hard on the drinks and even charges extra per drink even on the beverage package. We will be looking to book our next cruise on another cruise line for our next voyage.
