Sail Date: Feb 2010

We sailed on the Panama Canal Westbound cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale headed to LA. The Coral is a beautiful smaller ship. We concluded we probably prefer the larger class ships such as the Diamond Princess. To each his own.

I have to agree with many other folks regarding the Horizon food quality and choice. We had not sailed with Princess for 2 years and we felt this area had slipped a bit. The dining room food was fine. The deserts are not that great however. Of course if you are not happy with any item just send it back and ask for something else which I did only once actually. The 2 specialty restaurants where excellent.

We did the Chef's table and you have to check that out at least once in your life. Chef Thomas was great! What a down to earth guy and good cook!
