Sail Date: Dec 2018
Cabin: Balcony

I booked a balcony cabin for the Eastern Caribbean cruise with stops at Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk and Amber Cove.

I opted for any time dining which gave me allocation to the Renoir Restaurant which is located in the middle of the ship.

I was located in cabin 6379 which was conveniently located within easy walking distance of elevators, near the middle of the ship. Standard balcony cabin for Carnival which is spacious for one and adequate for two - not sure how those with more cope unless you each sit on your own beds for relaxation.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8D

Standard balcony cabin. King bed configuration as there was only me to enjoy the space. Plenty of hanging space and hangers - even for two people. Standard en-suite shower room. Carnival have now removed the small square shower mat which seems to be a pointless exercise in penny saving as instead I simply used one of the hand towels.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

I had a couple of nights in Fort Lauderdale pre-cuirse, staying at Royal Palms Resort and Spa (with little evidence of spa). Great stay - good location set one block back from the beach and between two sections of entertainment so things were nicely quiet in the evening.
