Let me start by saying the majority of the crew was great, very courteous and helpful. The only crew members that didn't even greet you in the hallways seemed to be upper level crewmen and women.I ran into the executive chef in one of the lobby's, I introduced myself and put out my right hand to shake his, he had a coffee pot dangling from his right hand and I guess I was not worthy of him switching hands so he put out his limp left hand for me to shake! We also passed by the cruise director in a hallway where he didn't bother to even say hello. The ship itself is beautiful but a little mundane.Very well kept and very clean. Although the hallways especially outside of our stateroom smelled of urine. It reminded me of when I used to visit my grandfather at the nursing home!As far as the food is concerned it was adequate. The buffets were pretty much the same everyday. Breakfast was the same everyday, it never changed a bit. In the dining room the food was as I said previously "adequate". I couldn't say that we had one memorable meal (and I'm a chef). As far as the dining room service, the busboy was excellent, the Maitre d Did his job, but our waiter was terrible. I could go on for pages about him but I wont. Let me just say he was rude, pompous and disrespectful! I guess he didn't know that you can fill out your tip form with a "0" in the waiter slot! His name was Ulash or something like that, it was pronounced goulash and he was from Turkey. The restaurants for the most part served a lot of food that you can get in the dining room, Don't waste your money! As far as activities on the ship go.....there was not much to do! The shows were ok, nothing great. The night clubs were empty every night! The ports were great and we saved a lot of money just walking off the ship and finding our own tours. Although we did book peacock bass fishing in Lake Gatun in Panama. It was awesome, well worth the money. The casino was surprisingly dead almost every night. The poker tables were empty because of the 10% unlimited rake. When we did go to play at empty craps table, we got the thing going, and on one of the last nights I threw a die off of the table after rolling them a dozen times, the stick person rudely said "sir you need to calm down with the dice" so we said "take down all of our bets we are leaving this table", never an attempt at an apology. On a positive note Nicola the casino host was great, and i did win 2 of the poker tournaments and actually made money on an 11 day cruise!Oh.....and the lawn is a freaking lawn!....so what! Also this ship is not for smokers! No smoking on your balcony and very few places to go that you can smoke. Also they rarely empty the ashtrays. Nasty!

Cabin Review

Balcony was big because of our position on the ship...but it was unlit!
