Everything about this cruise was wonderful. Our room was spacious and centrally located on the 9th deck close to the elevators. We were in Concierge class and the amenities were wonderful (with the exception of the daily canapes brought to our room which were pretty lame). The service was impeccable, the staff friendly, the food the best we've had since we started cruising and the entertainment very good. Five Guys, the Acapella group, were sensational. Dru, the Cruise Director, was very good but not the best we've seen at sea. The Celebrity singers and dancers were great, but again, not the best we've seen. We enjoyed all the entertainment, although we thought the Pop-Opera singer was not the best choice for a cruise ship. We never waited in line for anything except a table at lunch time. We think more offerings should be made in the Cafe for dinner. One night we got back late from a trip and decided to have dinner in the Cafe - there were very few choices there. We would never do that again. I guess the last time we did it was 3 or 4 years ago and they have changed what they offer there. Service in the main dining room was perfect. Our Waiter and Asst Waiter were very attentive. And the Maitre D' appeared every evening to be sure we were happy (and he had a wonderful sense of humor). The ports were great - our trip in Cozumel was cancelled due to windy weather and some rain. Loved Roatan, Honduras and Cartagena, Colombia. It was our first trip to each.

All in all a wonderful trip. We already have booked a cruise on the new Eclipse in December and can't wait.

I recommend Equinox to anyone who loves cruising and Celebrity is the best.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 2

Cabin was perfect. Cabinets over the bed provided great storage. Closet was more than adequate. Bathroom was better than on previous ships - shower was more spacious. Veranda was more than adequate. Only negative was sewer smell when we left our cabin - the hallways smelled the entire cruise but they seem to know the problem and are working on it. Our location (near the elevators) was perfect
