I wished to return to New Zealand after a 50 year absence & had the opportunity to travel with a friend to explore places enjoyed in my youth.

We had a comfortably sized balcony stateroom & were impressed by all the staff & crew of the Majestic Princess. Our room had a TV with access to daily updates by the Cruise entertainment Director, movies, news channels & presentation re ports we visited.

Activities & Entertainment were scheduled daily with much variety that difficult choices sometimes had to be made. The Princess Theartre was a wonderful venue for big events & smaller gatherings catering for everyone were held at numerous venues on a number of decks. Mastering the four sets of lifts took some time - the walk to our many varied destinations always good to work off the good food that settled where it shouldn't have.Though we did not do any serious excersise this was well catered for onboard, as were luxury pampering services.
