I chose Carnival because of my wife’s past experiences with the Cruise Line. My expectations weren’t really that high, but hers were because of her past cruises. Firstly, this was our honeymoon, a vacation that’s a little extra special and a tad bit more magical. Getting on board was seamless and very expedited which we loved. Upon arriving on board we were thrilled to be on a cruise, but on the second day that all changed. Our Balcony room was incredibly hot, and we had maintenance come up and take a look. They told us it meets all expectations and guidelines. Next, we had issues with one of our two excursions planned, we were hustled off of the ship like cattle and pointed in the wrong direction by a crew memeber. We waited in line only to miss our excursion due to lack of information from the staff. Our dining experience was so bad that we only went twice, one of which was only to get pictures for elegant night. We waited one hour for appetizers and another hour for our entree, only to be served the wrong entree. I understand it’s a busy ship, but two different times with the same experience is unacceptable. Lastly, we had charges added to our bill for the dining service we didn’t even use. I don’t mind tipping, I usually tip well. But not for a service I didn’t use. I can personally say, me nor my wife will ever sail carnival cruise line again. If you continue to sail Carnival, skip the conquest, it’s 10 years behind every other ship.

Cabin was clean and beautiful, but the AC not operating correctly is not.
