Opportunity to visit many cities in France without moving from hotel to hotel. Scenery of a river cruise is unique and breathtaking. Many choices for river cruises in France, but the consistent highly rated recommendations from friends and family pointed us in the direction of Viking. Viking not only met but exceeded our expectations. Our cruise director was extremely knowledgeable and professional & the food and service onboard was top notch. We elected the Silver beverage package that provided for upgraded wines and unlimited alcohol. The bar was well stocked with top shelf alcohol and the bar staff was outstanding. We will definitely be looking to Viking for future travel excursions. Other than tipping of the staff and cruise director, almost everything was included if the price of the cruise. Although there are a few paid excursions, the standard daily ones offered were excellent. Look forward to our next Viking cruise.
