This was a delayed honeymoon cruise for us. We went with Celebrity as we have wanted to try this cruise line and felt Alaska would be the best place to do that. We wanted an aft balcony cabin for the views of both sides of the ship, and went with the S2 suite as it best suited our needs.

We planned to enjoy all the dining opportunities offered, but ended up eating in the Luminae almost every meal. It offered the such amazing service, incredible food, beautiful views out the windows, it never seemed crowded, and it was a very comfortable setting. The staff really made us feel as if we owned the place the way we were treated! It couldn't have been better!

The cabin steward and butler were both great and saw to every need we had, as did the concierge via Michael's Lounge.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 2

Cabin S2

Wonderful cabin! It was very quiet, at the end and just off center with the hallway. The view from the balcony was amazing!! Would book this cabin again in a heartbeat! Large bathroom with tub and rain-shower head, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, cotton balls, q-tips, umbrellas in room (3 sizes), tons of storage space, bed is super comfy, lighted makeup mirror, small binoculars, 2 standard outlets, robes and slippers, hair dryer.... (trying to remember all that's in there)... just an excellent room!

Port Reviews

Seattle

Wonderful city to explore. Really enjoyed that so much was in walking distance or easy to get to via the underground tram or metro train.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus at Pioneer Square then at the Marriot by the water. Both were wonderful in their own way. We loved the historic Best Western, their customer service was beyond expectations!

Pikes Market is a must see, Rocko's Pizza is hands down amazing, and Ivar's Acres of Clams has a wonderful atmosphere, beautiful view and excellent food!

Ketchikan

This is a small yet lovely area. It was raining and cold, but we absolutely loved it there! Everything is within walking distance, so it was a wonderful first stop!
