Even if the embankment process was properly planned I don’t know if I’d ever go on a cruise again. I had high expectations of my first cruise and won’t ever go again. The ship made port 6 hours after we were expected to be on board because someone decided to jump of the stern of the ship. We arrived at the terminal and 12 hours later were still in terminal. They skipped the first port and didn’t even have check in staff at the terminal until 5 pm where we had to wait in a 3 hour queue. No food or water was available to us for compensation and we only received a $50 credit for the experience. We were cut in queue multiple time which led to a 3 hour wait to get in. The only saving grace to the cruise was our cabin steward Rodel and the Spa staff. The food was soggy and cold aside for the pasta line which wasn’t exactly fresh. Dining wasn’t great as all the food was previously frozen and you were able to taste that. The entertainment kept me entertained but this cruise didn’t live up to what I was told. Even without the embarkment disaster this was an average with our steward and spa staff being the real saving grace. The shows were decent for cruise, I wasn’t expecting Cirque du Soliel or anything but it did it’s job and was fun. It was nice to get to all the sites that we did but it was more of a highlight cruise. I would’ve loved to spend more time in Corfu and Mykonos and also See Kotor but this cruise failed to deliver. The majority of staf was blah which is probably a reflection on how staff is treated by the company so that may be a factor. It’s a good cruise if you’re looking to hit plenty of Adriatic coast sites but I didn’t even get that so it failed. Miserably. Don’t take this cruise or cruise line company. The company probably treats its staff like crap and it shows in the way they treated us on this cruise.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

It was a quaint little room. Rodel did a great job keeping the cabin perfectamd was always asking if we needed anything more and more than willing to track whatever we needed down. He was one of the few stars on that cruise.

Port Reviews

Kotor

We got to wave at Kotor as we aimlessly sailed by that port

Corfu

Nice to learn of the history of Corfu. Well done.

Santorini

This was something that I ate back home. Nothing really new. Could’ve spent more time in Oía and the rest of Santorini was okay. Kind of an overrated island that we read about in history books

Mykonos

Solid excursion that also allowed for us to see Mykonos as well which I’d love to come back to. Just a solid place.

Dubrovnik

Isn’t this why we all booked this cruise? Loved the GoT tour and learning the history of Dubrovnik. Also of the Yugoslavian conflict in the early to mid 1990s

Venice

Well if you call embarking an excursion then yes. And it sucked
